Williams
LYNN -- Joe Williams, 67, of Lynn died Sunday, Dec. 21, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Born in Burnsville, W.Va., he had lived in Delaware early in life and served in the Marine Corps. He had lived in Lynn for 20 years and was a retired truck driver and certified welder.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Williams of the home; five sons, Joe Williams of Delaware, Joey Williams Jr. of Lake City, Shane Doyle and Greg Doyle, both of Lynn, and Anthony Barry of Woodlawn, Tenn.; two daughters, Kathy Williams of Delaware and Benita Stewart of Evening Shade; three brothers, Bobby Williams, Frank Williams and Paul Williams, all of Delaware; four sisters, Virginia Lister and Ruth Hacker, both of Delaware, Rose Mary Adams of Michigan and Betty Pace of Utah; and 12 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Ward Cemetery at Strawberry, with Kennard Ward officiating. House-Gregg Funeral Home of Lynn is in charge of the arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be Thomas Doyle, Carl Durham, Charles Durham, Roland Eaton, David Doyle and Cliff Doyle.
Honorary pallbearers will include his grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
