TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Carl Eugene Fritts, 94, of Tahlequah and formerly of Bella Vista, died Feb. 28, 2009, in Tahlequah. He was born Sept. 9, 1914, in Tulsa, Okla., to George Thomas Fritts and Bessie P. Murrah Fritts.
He graduated from Central High School in Tulsa and attended Spartan School of Aeronautics. He was an accountant and former director of the Bella Vista Men's Chorus and a 32nd-degree Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christina Carson Fritts, on July 8, 2002.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Church of God International in Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow in Bella Vista Cemetery with Pastor Charles Gross officiating.
Memorials may be made to Church of God International, 888 Klenc Road, Springdale, 77762.
Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.
