BELLA VISTA — Dick Deaton, 78, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Sept. 8, 1937, in Glimer, Texas to Robert and Ruth (Ferguson) Deaton.
Preceded in death by his parents and loving wife of 53 years Glenda Deaton. He is survived by his son, Rod Deaton, and his wife Laura, of Austin, Texas, and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m., Sept. 16, 2015, at Village Baptist Church, 380 Glasgow Road, Bella Vista, Ark. Pastor Pat Taylor will officiate. Burial will be at the Bella Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Bradley Mike Finley, Art Keller, Bob Mathis, Harry Rector and Don Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers are Joe Baker, Turk Davis, Keith Garton, and Grover Kimmel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Village Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas. On-line condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
