Mrs. Louisa Holder died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R S Smyth, in Marshall on Monday morning, January 14, after an illness of six days of pneumonia. The remains were taken on Tuesday to the home place on Lower Bear Creek, where interment was held in the Holder graveyard. Mrs. Holder was in her 66th year. She was the widow of Spence Holder, one of the early settlers of Searcy County, and who departed this life 17 years ago. Mrs. Holder was a Christian woman, a kind mother, and a good neighbor, and she will be greatly missed in this community. She leaves 2 sons, Perry Holder and Spence Holder, of Zeb, Ark., and two daughters, Mrs. R S Smyth of Marshall, Ark., and Mrs. E. L. Eidson, Maud, Oklahoma, and a number of grandchildren and other relatives to mourn her demise
