Wednesday, January 26, 2000:

Mrs. Thelma Lee Clements, 86, of Conway died Monday (Jan. 24, 2000) at her residence.
Born Jan. 31, 1913, at Enola, daughter of W.C. and Myrtle Polk Robinson, she was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church and a school employee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.E. Clements; two sons, Harold Clayton and Carlos Lynn; and a daughter, Barbara Jean.
Survivors are a daughter, Marion Halloway of Conway; three sons, Herbert Clements of Jacksonville, Larry Clements of Conway and Gary Clements of Damascus; two sisters, Pauline Webb of Sherrill (Jefferson County) and Bronnie Ruple of Conway; a brother, Jake Robinson of Sherrill; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Oakland United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Halloway, Dennis Halloway, Greg Clements, Mark Clements, Mick Clements, Leon McKim and Kevin Middleton.
