Mary Gwendolyn Rowland Gray of Sheridan, Arkansas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 27, 2013.

Mary was born August 14, 1922 in Fordyce, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Willie Edgar and Martha Mae Regan Rowland.

She was a member of North Main Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School for many years at Amboy Baptist Church in North Little Rock. Mary was a lifetime licensed cosmetologist and a member of the Rosie the Riveter Association.

She loved her home, cooking and sewing and enjoyed growing African Violets. She was also an avid reader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James (J.C.) Gray, and her siblings, Willa Mae Dunn, Roy Rowland, Bessie Easterling and Harvey Rowland.

Survivors, children and their spouses, Brenda and Harvey Stuckey of Sheridan, Glenda Ann Gray of Bella Vista, Robbie and Panos Andronikos of Hot Springs, Paula and Bill Pokluda of Cocoa, Florida and Paul and Sheila Gray of Jacksonville; four grandsons and their spouses, David Stuckey of Grapevine, Texas, James and Erica Stuckey of Spring, Texas, LCpl Clint Gray of Cherry Point, North Carolina, Alex Andronikos of Hot Springs; one granddaughter, Lori Gray of Jacksonville; two step-grandsons, David and Sean Pokluda of Cocoa, Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Surviving siblings include Jean Dorey and Ola Jones of Thornton. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 30, 2013 at

Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Moss Hill Cemetery near Bearden.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 A.M.until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St.Jude Children's Hospital or Gideons International, Grant County Camp.
