Jerry Shannon Spear, 69, of Conway, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009.
Born in Dyess, AR on March 8, 1940, he was the son of the late Jack Shannon and Mavis Lee (Stevenson) Spear.
Jerry loved being with his family, was an avid Razorback and Cowboys football fan and enjoyed going fishing. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
A sister, Barbara Vann also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughters Tonya Tindell (Steve) and Denise Smith and a son Barry Veazey all of Greenbrier; grandchildren: Jessica Moody, Deidre Foiles, Lindsey Spear, Stephanie Underwood, Jame Bize, Travis Veazey, Brian Tindell, Brian Kelley and Colton Veazey; great grandchildren; Cruz Moody, Aleea Underwood and Conner Underwood; a sister Pat Hall; a very special uncle Floyd Stevenson and a host of nieces and nephew.
Interment was at Oakland Cemetery in Holland with Todd Welter, Mark Welter, Brian Tindell, Brian Kelley, Jase Johnston and Clay Johnston serving as pallbearers.
