Obituary
Ona Lou Dunphy, 94, of Batesville died Saturday, July 9, 2005 at Woodlawn Nursing Home.
She was born January 16, 1911 in Floral, Arkansas the daughter of J. A. Pearson and Martha Ann Pearson. She was a bookkeeper and of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by one son, Keith Rutledge of Batesville; two daughters, Martha Rae Barnes of Charlottesville, Virginia and Ann Suchecki of Lompoc, California; seven grandchildren, Laura Sessions-Stepp of Arlington, VA, Teresa Kramer of Bethesda, MD, David Suchecki of Santa Barbara, CA, Christopher Suchecki of Lompoc, CA, Sonja Buettner of San Diego, CA, Alan Rutledge of Sachse, Texas, and Leslie Rutledge of Little Rock, AR; five great-grandchildren, Jeffery Stepp of Arlington VA, Jennifer and Kimberly Kramer of Bethesda, MD, Kylie and Riley Rutledge of Sachse, Tx; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Dunphy; two brothers Clayton Pearson and Sidney Pearson; eight sisters, Nora Roach, Roberta Jefford, Sula Newton, Elsie James, Ruby Caplener, Lucille Johnston, Zelma Grady, and Muriel Pearson.
Honorary pallbearers are the Staff of East 2 at Woodlawn Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with Jim Pearson officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday, July 11, 2005.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
