Faye Louise Lackey of Conway died Friday, March 21, 2008. She was born to Ernest Fay and Nellie Ray Carroll Lackey on August 13, 1932, in Holland, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Gerald Wayne Lackey.
Faye is survived by one brother, Carroll (Geraine) Lackey and one sister, Eva (Bobby) Shettles, both of Conway; two nephews, Geoff Lackey of Little Rock and Todd Shettles of Jacksonville; four nieces, Denita Lands of North Little Rock, Holley Strandlund of Vilonia, Robbie Dickson of Conway, and Melissa Adams of Liberty, MO; seven great nieces, three great nephews, and several cousins.
She was retired from Southwestern Bell after 38 years and was of the Methodist faith.
She enjoyed the Senior Center and playing "bean bag ball games."
Funeral services will be Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Rev. Bert Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Holland.
Visitation is Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Geoff Lackey, Mike Lands, Scott Dickson, Brian Strandlund, Todd Shettles and Charles Henry Butler.
