GAMALIEL, Ark. - Larry Lee Neathery, 69, of Gamaliel died Friday, July 23, 2004, at his home.
He was born Aug. 8, 1934, in Vandalia, the son of Ernest and Hazel Neathery. He married Nancy Eales in 1961.
Mr. Neathery graduated from Springfield High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as a senior buyer for the Central Illinois Power Co. for many years and owned and operated a resort on Norfork Lake in Arkansas. He served as a rural mail carrier in Mountain Home, Ark. for 20 years.
Survivors: wife, Nancy; daughter, Jennifer (husband, Kenny) Lourwood of Springfield, Mo.; a grandchild; and brother, Ernest Neathery of Chatham.
Services: today, Bull Shoals, Ark., Jimmie Snow officiating.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Twin Lakes Cremation Society and Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, Ark., is in charge of arrangements.
