John Robert Moore, 68, of Holland, Ark., passed away Feb. 23, 2012.
He was born in the Atkins area and graduated from Morrilton High School.
He was survived by his wife, Susan Goode Glazebrook Moore, of 26 years.
His death was due to an automobile accident on Jan. 28.
He was a loyal employee of Crain Automotive Team, formerly Jodie Brown Motors. He had a passion for carpentry, gardening, and anything that had to do with hard work and fun.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Potter and Aylene Huff; and a brother, Jessie Carr.
He is survived by his children, John Moore Jr. of Conway, and Gary Moore of Kansas, Daniel Moore of California, Michael Moore of California and Susan McCartney of California; and stepchildren, Jason Glazebrook of Vilonia and Christie Oliver of Wooster. He is survived by siblings, Andy Moore, Dovey Hood, J. C. Moore, Sue Deal, Leo Moore and James Moore.
Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, and funeral following visitation at 3 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, 327-7727.
Burial to be at Oakland Cemetery in Holland.
Pallbearers will be Chris Crain, Randy Mahan, Paul Fiser, Shawn Oates, Kenny Jones, Cliff Johnston, and honorary pallbearers are Jim Ferguson, Eddie Jones and Mike Hoxie.
Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt funeral home.
