Adams Cemetery
Marion County,
Arkansas

located one mile east of Big Springs, Arkansas in Marion County.

This group of trees is where the Adams Is Located. I found this on Marion County, Site. Adams Cemetery is located on Greasey Creek on a farm. The farm is now owned by the Jefferson's. It is about 6 miles south of Yellville in Blue Springs Township. It is grown up and stones are broken and falling down. And it is no longer used for buries. It is located just off Highway 235. It
was established as a family cemetery by the pioneer Adams family who owned the farm at that time. Most of the grave markers are people who were related to the Adams family. The earliest marker is George Adams who died in 1854. George's Mother was Louiza Adams Wade known as Aunt Sis Wade.
One of the latest is E V Wade who died in 1938. Looking at the cemetery from here on the right higher up land is a big white house on the top of the hill. That's where the folks live that own the cemetery and farm.
