Lenora (Lee) M. Quimby Lewis, 92, of Little Rock stepped into the light and God's loving arms June 25, 2014. Lee was born in Niagra Falls, New York to Anthony and Helen Acovangelo.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Cecil N. Quimby and Charles S. Lewis.

She is survived by her daughters, Cecile J. Woda, Sharon L. Quimby, and son, Anthony W. Quimby; her beloved grandchildren, Lisa Grummer, Marissa Williamson, Jason Owens, and Cheryl Quimby; and her great-grandchildren, Whitney Williamson, Natalie Grummer, and Nathan Grummer, all of Little Rock; and a sister Betty Borsky of San Marcos, CA.

Lee owned women's retail clothing store for 20 years in El Dorado. She was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post 1 for over 54 years. She also served as president and other capacities.

She volunteered over 2400 hours at the Veteran's Hospital. She served in the Army in World War II at the Charleston Port of Embarkation in Charleston, SC. She was chosen as a poster recruitment WAC and traveled to promoted the Armed Forces. She served as an Italian translator for prisoners of war. She was awarded the WAC Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Lee showed her love for her family by cooking wonderful Italian meals which reflected her heritage.

Funeral Service 11:00 am on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock.
