Mrs. Estella Parker Hayes. Little Rock, Arkansas has lost a beloved citizen from the South End and Granite Heights community. She died peacefully in her home on Monday, January 27, 2014. She is the oldest of 10 siblings, born in Little Rock to the late Addie and Tommy Parker. She graduated from Dunbar High School. She owned On the Move Fashions in downtown Little Rock and retired from the Pulaski County Cooperative Extension Service where she taught Nutrition.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jeff Hayes. She is survived by five children: Khadijah Myers , Sharon (Daniel) Thomas, Jeff Jr., Jonathan, and Jay Hayes, nine siblings; Tommy Jr. (Bernice), Charles (AJ), Joseph (Jackie), Myrtle, Edwina, James (Brenda), Donnelle (Carilyn), Barbara, Troy (Diane), a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends and tributes on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Greater Center Star Baptist Church 800 W 33rd St., Little Rock, Ark. 72206. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Greater Center Star Baptist Church. Service entrusted to Gunn Funeral Home 4323 W. 29th Little Rock, Ark. 72204 (501) 660-4323
