Rev. Leon Earl Troutman 67 of Mayflower died Monday (April 11, 2005). He was born August 20, 1937 in Mayflower to the late Johnny Walker Torutman and Ruby Beatrice Padgett Troutman. He was Pastor of Troutman Chapel Church in Mayflower, an Army Veteran, member of the 553rd Field Artillery Battalion, member of the Arkansas Professional Bail Bond Association, a licensed minister with the North Central Arkansas Full Gospel Association and a bus driver for Mayflower Public Schools. He is survived by his wife Marie Troutman of Mayflower, daughter Marsha Williams of Mayflower, three sons, Don Meeks of Conway, Ronnie Troutman of Bossier City, Louisiana and Clyde Troutman of Conway, two brothers, Bill Troutman of Shreveport, Louisiana and Keith Troutman of Macon, Georgia, thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.. He was preceded in death by his sister Margie Hall. Services are 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with burial in Mayflower Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Bill and Will Fagan, Keith McCord, Bruce Hendrix, C. W. McCall, Jimmy Evans, Ferrell Chance and Clifford Williford. Honorary pallbearers are the Elders of Troutman Chapel Church.
