Jimbo Williams, 54, of Mayflower, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at Conway Regional Medical Center. Born on April 13, 1951 in Mayflower, he was Transportation Director for the Mayflower Public Schools, co-owner of J & J Enterprises in Mayflower, and a member of Troutman Chapel Church. Survivors include his wife, Marsha (Troutman) Williams; his mother, Wanda Lee (Woodham) Williams, both of Mayflower; five children, Rhonda Williams of Conway, Jo McPherson and husband Randy, Bo Williams and wife Jackie, Jeffrey Williams, all of Mayflower, and Jason Carter and wife Amber of Conway; two brothers, James “Chuck” Williams and Johnny Williams; one sister, Kathy Ingram; mother-in-law, Marie Troutman, all of Mayflower; seven grandchildren, Clifton and Brianna, Paige, Paden and Shelby, Alexandra and Jaxson. He was preceded in death by his father, James Buford Williams, one sister, Brenda Sue Williams, and father-in-law, Rev. Leon Troutman. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Rev. Terry Turner and Rev. Gary Hammer officiating. Interment will follow at Mayflower Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Jeff Jackson, Jerry Snuggs, Gary Ingram, Tony Woodham, Jerry “Bugs” Woodham, and James Sellers. Honorary pallbearers are Linn Washam, Lou Howell, Art Montgomery, Brandon Mitchell, Rhonda Bradford, and all the Mayflower bus drivers.
