Robert Hulan Grooms, 90 of Mayflower went to be with the Lord Thursday September 8th at Conway Regional Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born August 28, 1926 the son of the late William Monroe "Mon" and Minnie Russom
Grooms.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lola Jean Martin Grooms, son, Jeff Grooms, sisters, Bessie Wren, Mable Smith, Elva Hays, Mayo Garner, Zelma Crossno, Edith Friar, brothers, Lester, Elmer and Jessie Grooms.

He retired from Pandrol-Jackson Railroad Maintenance Company in 1989 after 24 years, where he was Vice President, assistant to the President. He also worked for Missouri Pacific Railroad for many years prior to Pandrol-Jackson.

He was a 59 year Mason and member of the Pulaski Heights Lodge #673. He enjoyed working on and driving old Chevy pickups and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was a very gifted mechanic and could fix almost anything.

He is survived by his daughter: Kay Coffman of the home; two sons: Robert Grooms of North Little
Rock, AR, and Tim Grooms of Maumelle, AR. three grandchildren; Chris Coffman, Jeff Grooms and
Candace Coffman and five greatgrandchildren.

His life will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, Monday, at Roller McNutt funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow at Mayflower Cemetery in Mayflower
