Lillard Lee Bolls Jr, 83, of Little Rock, passed away Aug. 10, 2008.
Born April 15, 1925, in Conway to Clara and Lillard Lee Bolls Sr, Bolls attended Hendrix College in Conway. Bolls attended and graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, served in the Air Force during WWII, was a charter member and past president of Pulaski Heights Kiwanis Club and received the George F. Hixson Fellow Kiwanis Award. Mr. Bolls was a former fire and casualty agent, and former RV dealer. He was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Jo Magbee Bolls of Little Rock; two sons, Lillard Lee Bolls III and James Robert Bolls and wife Rhonda, all of Little Rock; granddaughter, Amanda Bolls Smith and husband Wallace of Little Rock; great-granddaughter Kaylee Jewel Smith and bonus great-grandsons Luke and Nate Smith, all of Little Rock.
Bolls was preceded in death by his parents; grandsons, James Robert Bolls Jr. and Jonathan Robert Bolls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church Foundation, 4823 Woodlawn, Little Rock, 72205, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, 312 W. Pershing Blvd., North Little Rock, 72114.
The family received friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Griffin-Leggett-Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Lynn Lindsey officiating.
Burial Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway.
Pallbearers are Rick Gallagher, Frank Porbeck, Don Breshears, Dr. Bob Young, Ted Dillaha, Wallace Smith and Dr. John Stotts.
