Frances Lynette Brown Ball, daughter of the late Fred L. Brown and Ila Elizabeth Heffington Ball, was born December 27, 1935 in El Paso, Arkansas. She departed this life June 4, 2016 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 8 days. She was united in marriage to Robert Brown September 15, 1983 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by five children: Freddy Reynolds of Melbourne, Linda Meredith (Fred) of Melbourne, Anne Smith (Tommy) of Melbourne, Kathy Pannell (Hardy) of Melbourne and Kelly Saylor (Tony) of Searcy; two sisters: Linda Grider of Star City, Arkansas and Tillie King of Junction City, Colorado; numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister: Jan Kirkland; two grandsons: Bobby Smith, Jeremy Reynolds and one infant daughter: Janet Reynolds.
Funeral service will be Monday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Elvis Sneathern officiating. Burial will be at Melbourne Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will be Sunday, June 5 from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to: Cornerstone Baptist Church, Hwy 58 & 69, Mt. Pleasant, AR 72561.
Pallbearers: Casey Reynolds, Freddie Meredith, Levi Wall, Cody Smith, Lance Smith, Chris Modesto.
