Mrs. Cora B. Welch, 89, Colcord, Okla., died Oct. 26 in a Jay, Okla. nursing home. Born May 22, 1885 in Benton County, she was the daughter of William and Sophia Phillips Gadberry, a member of the Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of the area.

Survivors include two sons, Jay Welch, Denair, Calif., and Dick Welch, Colcord, Okla.; four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Vause and Mrs. Thelma Fowler, Colcord, Mrs. Mabel Luttrell, Gentry, and Mrs. Montez Fugate, Siloam Springs; 17 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Colcord Community Center with the Rev. Houston Allen officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery under the direction Of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
