Ora Slayten Giles, 77, of the Walnut Grove community was born November 17, 1912 at Farmington, the daughter of C.W. and Julia Shumate Slaten.
She died August 26, 1990 at a Fayetteville hospital.
She lived on a livestock farm and was a housewife and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
Survivors include her husband, Glen Giles of the home; one son, Henry Giles, and one daughter, Darlene Rush, both of Farmington; one sister, Emogene McKee of Farmington; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, August 28 at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial followed in Farmington Cemetery.
