Richard Wayne Stevenson, age 60, of Quitman passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born in Guy on November 1, 1946, he was the son of Bernadine (Shaw) Stevenson and the late Richard Clayton Stevenson.
A lifetime resident of the Quitman area, Wayne was a mechanic, and his hobbies included riding motorcycles and hot rod cars. Wayne was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father and by one brother, Jerry Stevenson.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Lisa (Myrsten) Stevenson of Quitman; three sons, Brian Stevenson, Craig Stevenson, and Danny Stevenson and his wife, Kela, two daughters, Saundra Stevenson and Tara Stevenson; his mother, Bernadine Stevenson of Quitman; and two sisters, Becky Benson and her husband Mike of Cape Fair, Mo. and Vickie Thompson and her husband Roger of Quitman; and five grandchildren, Matthew and William Johnson, and Blake, Jade, and Tanner Stevenson. Wayne is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
