FORGY, Sophia Margaret DUNLAP - Mrs. James Forgy, who has been very feeble for some time, died at her home northeast of town Saturday. December 23, 1922 at the age of eighty-one years and twenty days. Sophia Margaret Dunlap was born in Rock Island, Illinois December 3, 1841. She was married to James Forgy March 17, 1868. To this union were born five children: Florence Rebecca, Rachel Elizabeth, John Adolphus, Minnie Cora and Anna Lauria. Besides her husband the following survive: Mrs. Florence Barnes, Goldendale, Washington; Mrs. Minnie Aschach, Great Divide, Colorado and Mrs. Anna DeLand, Dunkirk, New York. There are also five brothers and sisters, Peter Dunlap, Woodston, Kan.; Mrs. Lizzie Graham, Miss Sarah Dunlap, Ben and Adolphus Dunlap of other states, also ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Among the grandchildren are Mrs. Will Hager and Mrs. Ernest Traxel of Gravette. The funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon from the Presbyterian church, Rev. G.T. Clark officiating, and burial was at the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
