Shirley Jeannette (Herring) Chandler, 41, of Conway, Arkansas, died at her home. She was born November 17, 1968, in Little Rock, Arkansas, a daughter of Carrol and Linda Joan (Groom) Herring of Quitman.

Shirley had worked with Methodist Behavioral Hospital, where she was an instructor. She attended New Life Church; and was a volunteer services to the VFW Post 2259 in Conway.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Heather and Haley Chandler of Vilonia; a sister, Martha Gatliff and husband Nick of Clinton; brothers, Brent Herring and wife Brenda of Conway; Steve Herring of Pine Bluff; Claude Herring and wife Paula of Quitman; James Herring and wife Donna of Conway; six nieces and three nephews; and her special friend, Sylva Croney of Conway; as well as a number of other family members and friends.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at New Home Missionary Baptist Church near Quitman, with Harrel Herring officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m, Monday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. 501-327-7727.
