Ralph Moix, 70, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away October 22, 2016. He was born September 1, 1946 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Felix F. Moix Sr. and Christine (Imboden) Moix.
He was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. He was a member of the National Guard Reserve. He worked for Nabholz Construction and retired from Acxiom. Ralph was an avid hunter who enjoyed the outdoors and getting together with his deer “huntin” buddies. He also enjoyed an occasional fun trip to the casino. He will be greatly missed by his family.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Moix, Edmund Moix and Dennis Moix; Brother-In-Law’s Steve Hofherr and Bo Warren.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Moix; son, Jay Moix; brothers, Felix (Mary Catherine) Moix Jr. Herman (Bonnie) Moix; sisters, Lucille (Bob) Kordsmeier, Emogene Hofherr, Evelyn (Jimmy) McKinnon, Loretta (Steve) Madden, Carolyn Strack; Sister-in-laws, Mary Ann Moix, Elizabeth Moix, Teresa Phillips and Vicki Warren; a Brother-in-law, Roger (Sue) Warren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank the Hospice nurses, Jackie and David, as well as the doctors and nurses at UAMS especially Dr. Muthu and his nurse Michelle.
A rosary will be held at 7:00PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway with visitation afterwards. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday October 26th at St. Joseph Catholic Church with interment immediately following at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway. Serving as Celebrants will be Father Warren Harvey and Father Tony Robbins.
Pallbearers will be Jim Briggler, Robert Moix, Kenny Strack, Ray Moix, Kenny Moix, and Donnie Moix
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Joseph Endowment Fund, 1315 College Ave, Conway, AR 72034.
