Mrs. Donna S. (Taylor) Beasley, 67 of Cotter, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born September 17, 1949 in Pomona, California to Vern and Evelyn Taylor. She married Marc Beasley on August 23, 1980.
Donna attended Cal Poly University in Pomona, California. Throughout her career, Donna was sought after because of her excellent leadership skills. She was an innovator of computer word processing in the 1970's and the first female director of a department at Cal Poly Pomona. The career title she was most proud of was mom.
Donna loved her family and took great pride in designing and building her dream home in Cotter after she and Marc, the love of her life, retired to Arkansas in 2005. She was a avid quilter and crafter. Donna was the person you called for motivation, encouragement and perfect advice. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother and wife.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Beasley) Taffar; sisters, Terry Graham and Debbie Stinson; mother, Evelyn Taylor; nieces, Danette Falltrick and Candice Stinson; nephew, Chad Stinson and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends. Donna is preceded in passing by beloved husband Marc and her father Vern.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Conner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Cotter, Arkansas under the direction of Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
