Ida Bell Earnhart, 86, of Greenbrier, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2009. Born in Guy on September 9, 1922, she was a daughter to the late Arthur and Susie (Qualttlebaum) Tucker. She is remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to cook, crochet and work in her flower and vegetable gardens, but most of all she loved taking care of her family. She had worked for International Shoe, Barry Shoe and S.A.S. Shoe Companies of Conway before her retirement. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

A brother Henry Tucker and three sisters: Margaret Tucker, Erma Bennett and Lizabeth Gwatney also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Walter Earnhart, sons: Tommy Earnhart (Gale) of Conway and Gene Earnhart (Wanda)of Greenbrier; grandchildren: Alan Earnhart ( Michelle), Khristy Sanford (Scott), Michael Earnhart, Clint Earnhart and Timmy Staley; great-grandchildren: Hunter Earnhart, Cody Earnhart, Chelle Earnhart, Cole Sanford, Taylor Sanford and Lauren Sanford; sisters: Lil Tackett and Lou Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, at the funeral home with Bro. Gaylon King officiating. Interment will follow at Old Texas Cemetery, in Guy, with Scott Sanford, Alan Earnhart, Cody Earnhart, Michael Earnhart, Mike Tackett and David Wilson serving as pallbearers.


Walter A. Earnhart, 94 of Greenbrier, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011. Born in Greenbrier, he was a son to the late Auther and Sally (Freeman) Earnhart. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed his vegetable garden and always generously sharing his produce with others. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Wooster and retired from Virco Manufacturing.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Ida Bell Tucker Earnhart; four brothers and three sisters.

Those left to mourn his passing are his sons: Tommy Earnhart (Gale) of Conway and Gene Earnhart (Wanda) of Greenbrier; grandchildren Alan Earnhart (Michelle), Khristy Sanford (Scott), Michael Earnhart (Maggie), Clint Earnhart and Timmy Staley; great-grandchildren: Hunter Earnhart, Cody Earnhart, Chelle Earnhart, Cole Sanford, Taylor Sanford and Lauren Sanford and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Roller McNutt Funeral home in Greenbrier, with Bro. Gaylon King officiating. Interment will follow at Old Texas Cemetery in Guy with Scott Sanford, Alan Earnhart, Cody Earnhart, Michael Earnhart, Mike Tackett and David Wilson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5th, at the funeral home.
