Mrs. Catherine Frizzo, 89, St. Louis, Mo., died Dec. 21 in a St. Louis nursing home. Born Oct. 30, 1886, in Recaro, Italy, she was the daughter of Pete V. and Mary Fiori, the widow of Gabriel Frizzo and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in St. Louis.
Survivors include one son, Jay Frizzo, Bakersfield, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. R.M. VanMatre, Washington, D.C., Dee Frizzo, St. Louis, Mo., and Elsie Frizzo, North Little Rock; two brothers, Dick Fiori, Tontitown, and John Fiori, Porterville, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Ann Bales, Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Frank Jones, Oros, Calif., and Mrs. Rena Tolbert, Springdale; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be Tuesday at 8 p.m. in Sisco Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tontitown. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
