Roger Dale Herriott Sr., 51, died Tuesday at Jonesboro.
Having lived at Clover Bend most of his life. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran and graduate of Arkansas State University with a bachelor of science degree in business.
He was employed at Trumann High School, where he taught Junior ROTC, business law and programming. He was of the Baptist belief.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Hill Herriott.
Survivors include his daughter, Venessa Herriott of Stuttgart, Germany; sons, Roger Herriott Jr. and Johnathan Andrew Herriott, both of Clover Bend; his father, Clinton Herriott of Clover Bend; sisters, Kathy Midgett and Sandra Herriott both of Clover Bend; brothers, Teddy Herriott of Palestine and J.M. Herriott Jr. of Newark.
Funeral services were held at House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Robert Foster officiating. Burial was in Clover Bend Cemetery.
Military honors were accorded at the cemetery.
