Helen Ruth Reed, age 73, of Conway, passed away Monday (Nov. 4, 2002).
Born in Plumerville, she was a daughter of the late Lum and Magie Stell Reed. Ms. Reed had formerly worked as the Head of Proof Department at First Nation Bank and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
She is survived by one brother, James "Buddy" Reed of Conway; one sister, Betty Starkey of Conway; two nephews, Reed Starkey of Conway and Marty Starkey of Fort Smith; and two nieces, Ann West of Conway and Danita Webb of Gibsonville, N.C.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Roller-McNutt Chapel in Conway (327-7727) with Dr. Brad Hoshaw officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Reed Starkey, Marty Starkey, Michael Starkey, Robby West, Todd West and Mike Rennels.
