Norman C. Hardaway of Melbourne, Arkansas
Norman C. Hardaway, son of the late Owen Clarence Hardaway and Ada Arcena Morton Hardaway, was born September 17, 1935 in Franklin, Arkansas. He departed this life March 2, 2015 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 13 days. He was a 1953 graduate of Violet Hill High School. He was united in marriage to Mary Estes May 29, 1964 and to this union 2 children were born. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, Dad, Papa, provider and friend. He was employed by Boeing Aircraft, retiring after 14 years of employment. Norman was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Melbourne United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Mary Estes Hardaway of the home; one son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Angie Hardaway of Brockwell; one daughter and son-in-law: Kim and Bryan Kieffner of Melbourne; two grandchildren: Haley Jo Hardaway and Dannielle Lee Hardaway and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Morton Wayne Hardaway and one sister: Connie Earlene Billingsley.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 3 from 10 - 11 a.m. Graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11:30 at Roberts Cemetery in Franklin under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers: Rick Gilbreath, John Gilbreath, J. D. Roberts, Arnold Harris, Doyle McCollum, Chris Hill.
Honorary Pallbearer: Sam Sharp.
