Randy Joe Cooper, son of Wilma Moser Cooper and the late Gill Cooper, was born April 27, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life June 18, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 60 years, 1 month and 26 days. He was a 1974 graduate of Violet Hill High School. He was employed by G. H. Miller and Sons for 18 years. He was united in marriage to Amanda Gulley March 25, 1994. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Midway Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years: Amanda Cooper of the home; one son: Justin Wade Cooper of Violet Hill; Kayla Marie Cooper of Violet Hill; his mother: Wilma Cooper of Violet Hill; one sister: Roser Cooper Irvin of Violet Hill and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service will be Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Gene Baird officiating. Burial will be at Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will be Saturday, June 27 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
