Ordinance No 2010-34
Be it enacted by the Quorum Court of White, State of Arkansas and Ordinance entitled:
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ORDINANCE NO. 109 ADOPTED FEBRUARY 20, 1980 WHICH PROHIBITS'S THE ENTRANCE OF ANY INDIVIDUAL WITHOUT A VALID REASON INTO A CEMETERY IN WHITE COUNTY AFTER DAY LIGHT HOURS, ESTABLISHES A FINE FOR THE VIOLATION, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Section 1. Effective September 29, 2010, it is unlawful for any person or persons without valid reason to enter any public cemetery after the day light hours.
Section 2. Failure to comply with the provisions of this ordinance shall subject the violator or violators to a fine not to exceed $1,000.00.
Section 3. It is hereby determined that the public cemeteries in White County need to be protected from future destruction. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after passage.
