Sheral Jean Curtis, 62
Sheral Jean Hodges Comstock Curtis was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on May 2, 1952, daughter of Bobby Gene and Nancy Ann (Crockett) Hodges. She departed this life Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 62 years, 1 month and 16 days.
Sheral was a loyal employee of Baxter Healthcare for 43 years as an executive secretary. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Sheral was a loving mother, sister, aunt and daughter. Her beautiful smile and wonderful personality will be missed by all.
Sheral is survived by three children, Heath Comstock and fiancee` Jennifer Kuster of Owasso, Oklahoma, Nyssa Curtis of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Jennifer Cotter and husband Clay of Little Rock, Arkansas; her parents, Bobby and Nancy Hodges; three sisters, Janet James of Conway, Arkansas, Kelly Hodges of Viola, Arkansas, and Becky Cotter and husband Calvin of Gepp, Arkansas; three brothers, Michael Hodges and wife Tammy of Flippin, Arkansas, Gary Hodges and wife Connie of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Ricky Hodges and wife Sandra of Elizabeth, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 2 PM in the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth, Arkansas, with Bro. Johnny Williams and Bro. Ron Skaggs officiating. Interment will be in the Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas, with services entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Pallbearers are Heath Comstock, Chris Souliere, Ricky Hodges, Brandon Campbell, Michael Hodges and Clay Cotter. Honorary pallbearers were Colton Campbell, Grant Campbell, Connor Cadenbach, Carson Cadenbach, Gavin Phillips, Slade Phillips, Calvin Cotter and Gary Hodges. Memorials preferred to Relay For Life (American Cancer Society ). Guests may sign online registry @www.barkerfuneral.com.
Note: The gravestone is inscribed with her maiden name of Hodges even though the obituary has two married names of Comstock and Curtis listed.
