Patricia Elaine Nishiuchi, age 48, of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013. Mrs. Nishiuchi was born December 17, 1964, in Leslie, Arkansas, to S.W. and Jeraldine Mitchell. Originally from Mountain View, Arkansas, Mrs. Nishiuchi moved to Stamps in 2005 to teach in the Lafayette County School District; she retired in 2010. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Lewisville, Arkansas.

Mrs. Nishiuchi was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Roger Marshall.

She is survived by her parents; her best friend and husband of thirty years, Takumi Nishiuchi; two sons, Koji Nishiuchi of Stamps, AR, and Tai Nishiuchi and wife, Jen of Malvern, AR; two daughters, Alika Nishiuchi of Stamps, AR, and Noriko Cheatham and husband, Matt of Hot Springs, AR; one granddaughter, Emma Elaine Cheatham; two brothers, Rick Mitchell and wife, Tina of Pleasant Grove, AR, and David Mitchell and wife, Shelia of Fox, AR; sister, Paula Marshall of Mountain View, AR; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Lewisville, AR, under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR, with Bro. Howard Cole officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, AR. A second Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, AR. A Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2013, at Pordue Cemetery in Onia, AR.
