FRANKLIN – Shirley B. Kelley, 76, of Franklin died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, in a Melbourne nursing and rehabilitation center. Born July 9, 1928, in Hemphill, Texas, she was the daughter of James Edward Brown and Katie Currie Brown.
She was united in marriage to Jessie Edward Kelley on April 21, 1946, in Jasper, Ala.
She was the administrator of the Easy K Ranch for 41 years and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include a son, Ruston Kelley of Russellville; three daughters, Cameron Johnson of Franklin, Juanita Cardenas of Brazoria, Texas, and Sheila Lyons of Sage; 11 grandchildren, Thomas Grimes, Keith Grimes, Brandon Johnson, Julie Rhodes, Donnie Johnson, Larry Belk, Wendy Brooks, Samantha Hellums, Kyle Edwards, Jennifer Clark and Amanda Phillips; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister; three brothers; and a great-grandchild, Emily Brooks Lage.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Zion with Larry Strope officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be Clovis Vest, Jerry Dale, Gary Dale, Earnie Blackley, J.D. Rhodes and Robert Cardenas.
Honorary pallbearers are Don Johnson, Dallas Johnson and Jerry Blankenship.
