Fountain Emery Edwards wan born October 15, 1885, in Woodlawn, Va., and departed from this earth November 8, 1941, at the age of 56 years and 24 days. He became a member of the Holiness church in 1926 but more recently attended the Assembly of God church in Gentry.

On October 27, 1914, he married Miss Edith Hatfield at Fort Smith and to this union were born five children, four of whom survive besides the wife, Mrs. Theodore Roller, Yates Center, Kan.; Mrs. Garland Sitton, Gentry; James A., Hutchinson, Kan.; and Robert E. of the home. A daughter, Virginia, pawed away in 1922 at the age of five.

Funeral service was conducted at the Assembly of God church Sunday afternoon with burial In Flint cemetery.

Fountain E. Edwards, 56 years old, died Saturday afternoon at his home southwest of Gentry after a long illness. He had been a loyal resident for 25 years.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Edith Edwards; four children; his father, J. D. Edwards, Woodlawn, Va.; three sisters, four brothers and four grandchildren. Funeral service was conducted at the Assembly of God church in Gentry Sunday afternoon with Rev. Askew of Gravette and Rev. Vent Bowlin officiating. Interment was in Flint cemetery under the direction of Wasson funeral home.
