Herman Alfred "Pete" Hogan, age 94, of Conway passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at his home.
He was born January 24, 1910 in Mt. Vernon to the late William Monroe Hogan and Maud Sanders Hogan.
Mr. Hogan was an oil jobber, a service station owner and operator, and a cattleman. He was a Coast Guard veteran of WWII, a member of the American Legion and the Blinded Veteran's Association, and of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Sybil Lewis Hogan of Conway; three nephews, Monroe Lee Hogan of Conway, Carroll W. Lewis of Conway, Fred E. Lewis of Chino, CA; and two nieces, Betty Hogan Gibbs of Holland and Barbara Lewis Talmud of Conway.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway with Fr. Warren Harvey and Chaplain John Lewis officiating.
Visitation is Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Pallbearers are Joe Lee, Mike Gibbs, Clint Hogan, W.C. Swaffar, John Irby, John Duke, and Joey Lee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blinded Veteran's Association, P.O. Box 25126, 155 Vangordon Avenue, Room 352, Denver, CO, 80225.
