Willie Marie Harber Collie, of Mountain Home, formerly of Newburg, daughter of the late Oran Paul Harmon and Olma Novella Estes Harmon was born October 20, 1922 in Calico Rock, AR. She departed this life November 13, 2013 at Hospice at St. Vincents Hospital in Little Rock, at the age of 91 years and 24 days.
She was united in marriage to Lowell Cecil Harber June14, 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK. To this union, four children were born. He preceded her in death November 29, 1973 and in 1981 she married Neil Collie. In the early years, she worked along side her husband, Lowell on the family farm. She was employed by McDonnell-Douglas in Melbourne for several years. She then went to school NACC in Harrison and received an Associates degree in nursing. She loved gardening and she had a passion for making quilts, but she had a greater love for her family. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Richard Harber and wife Judy of Wiseman; three daughters: Janice Coffman and husband George of Benton; Joanna Stricker of Mountain Home, and Donna Brown and husband Larry of Salem; two sisters, Janie Cooper and husband Jim of Newburg and Charlene Langston of Melbourne; seven grandchildren: Dr. Chris Melton and wife Susan of Little Rock; Jonathan Coffman and wife Karla of Benton; Doug Harber and wife Kim of Wiseman; Michele Richardson of St. Robert, MO.; Jill Jackson and husband Jeremy of Fayetteville; Lindsey Browning and husband Chris of Ft Campbell, KY.; and Joseph Brown of Salem; Twelve great-grandkids: Brooke Melton, Riley Melton, Bree Coffman, Ethan Coffman, Suzonne Harber, Chance Harber, Kylie Bell Harber, Ian Jackson, Carter Jackson, Allie Richardson, Zoey Browning and Tucker Browning; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by both husbands and her father and mother.
Burial to be in Violet Hill Cemetery.
