Louise C. Pittman, born May 23, 1919, in Bradford, Arkansas, died August 29, 2009. The daughter of Leland O. Criswell and Elfleda Charles Criswell. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Conway.
She was preceded in death by husbands, George M. Jones and Jack D. Pittman; and a son, James L. “Doodle” Pittman.
She is survived by sons, Dr. J. D. “Pete” Pittman, Jr. of Hot Springs; Charles “Buzz” Pittman of Conway; a daughter, Kish Jones of Conway; grandsons, Ren Pittman of Louisville, Kentucky; Thaddeus C. Pittman of Conway; granddaughters, Dacia R. McFall of Bentonville; Ja-Li-Si Bird Pittman of Clinton, Arkansas; daughters-in-law, Ginny B. Pittman of Clinton, Arkansas; Sarah V. Pittman of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; and five great-grandchildren.
She was a teacher by profession and teacher of men for all times; and a mom to all.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2009, in Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church of Conway, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway. 501-327-77727.
