Sallie E. Holmesley, 82, Spring Valley, died Sept 1 in the Springdale hospital. Born Sept. 19, 1892, in Spring Valley, she was the daughter of Ranson C. and Sarah Van Dyke Van Winkle. She was a member of the Spring Valley Baptist Church and the widow of Pete Holmesley.
Survivors include one son, Floyd Holmesley, Spring Valley; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Scott, Bentonville, Mrs. Essie Harris, Corona, Calif., Mrs. Maud Biggs, St. Louis, Mo. and Mrs. Jessie Loyd, Cambria, Ill.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the Spring Valley Baptist Church. Burial will be in in Valley Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel.
