GENTRY — Robert Dean Krein, 77-year-old resident of Gentry, Ark., died July 22, 2012 at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. Born March 18, 1935, in Jamestown, N.D., he was the son of Jacob Webster Krein and Emma Goidie Krueger Krein. Robert married Nora Williams on Aug. 7, 1970, at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. He worked as a building contractor and was a member of the Springtown Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Cayden Elliott Wren.

Robert is survived by his wife, Nora of Gentry, Ark.; one daughter, Linda Jo Anne Krein Wren and husband, Jim, of Lincoln, Neb.; three sons, Robert J. Krein and wife, Jena, Thomas Dean Krein and wife, D'Rae, and James Daryl Krein and wife, Judy Kay, all of Gentry; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers, Don Krein and wife, Wanda, of Portland, Ore., and Bill Krein and wife Linda of Lincoln, Neb.; two sisters, Marilyn Rexin and husband Jim of Jamestown, N.D., and Charleen Leavitt and husband, Roland, of Lincoln, Neb.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church, Gentry, Ark. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.
