Funeral services for Loren S. Harrington, 64, were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Elliott Baptist Church. Mr. Harrington, who lived at 307 Hilltop Courts, died Friday night at his home. He was a former employee of the city, and a member of Elliott Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jimmie Belle Vaughan Harrington; six daughters, Mrs. Estelle Roundtree of Camden, Mrs. Loretta Bryant and Mrs. Doylene McCraven of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mrs. Joyce Dyer of Hamburg; Mrs. Vicky Phillips of Long Beach, California; Mrs. Anita Hicks of St. Francis; two sons, Alfous Harrington, of Camden, and Alfred Harrington, with the US Army; one brother, Morgan Van Diver of Hollywood, Florida, and 16 grandchildren. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery by Proctors. (Camden News - October 25, 1971)
