Mrs. Mamie Russell Grigsby, 83, of 220 Clifton St., died late Sunday afternoon in a local hospital. She was the widow of H. F. Grigsby. Mrs. Grigsby was born in Moro, near Brinkley, and came to Camden in 1915. She was employed as a saleslady for over twenty years at Lide's Department Store, and was an active member of the First Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Willard Russell of Camden; one granddaughter, Mrs. Thomas Ray of San Francisco, Calif.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Louise McMillan of San Diego; one step-son, Grady Grigsby of Malvern, and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Proctor's Chapel, with burial in Memorial Park. (Camden News - September 20, 1971)
