The Rev. John D. Brazil, 84, Idabel, died Friday morning, December 11, in the Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.
Born November 14, 1886, in Little River County, Ark., he had been a resident of Idabel since 1948. He was a retired minister of the Assemblies of God.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes; one son, Charles of Kerman, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Jessie Gammon of Broken Bow; two brothers, Edward of Little Rock, Ark., and Jim of Texarkana; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Kirk and Mrs. Kate Nix, both of Horatio, Ark.; two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, in the First Assembly of God Church of Idabel, with the Rev. Elwayne Schaeffer, assisted by the Rev. Reubin Ruiz, officiating.
