Mrs. Nannie Lou Wulff, 89, of Little Rock, died Monday (Dec. 3, 2001).
Born March 26, 1912, in Conway, daughter of the late Helen Ester Murphy and William George Denison, she graduated from Arkansas State Teachers College in 1932 and completed her graduate work at Henderson State Teachers College and the University of Tennessee. After teaching in Arkansas high schools, she became an area home economics supervisor for the Arkansas Department of Vocational Education in 1964 and retired in 1982.
She was a 60-year member of the PEO sisterhood. Currently she was a member of Little Rock Chapter I and was responsible for the organization of Chapter Y in Sheridan. She was also a member of Forty Listeners Book Club and Winfield United Methodist Church. She was an active member of the Friendship Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, Delta Kappa Gamma, Altrusa International, and the Bay View Reading Club.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, William James Denison; a sister, Helen Horst; and her husband, Robert A. Wulff.
Survivors are her daughters and a son-in-law, Roberta Plant of Huntsville, Texas, and Kathryn and Randy Muse of Hot Springs; a sister Louise Robison of Hazen; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe G. and Mary Denison of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Bill and Stacy Plant of Little Rock, Barton Plant of Houston, Texas, Brent and JoLynn Plant of Bryan, Texas, Kyle and Attie Muse of Little Rock, and Joe and Julie Muse of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Jackson Muse; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway.
