Robert Dale Trent, 74, of Conway, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 24, 2006) at his home.
He was born June 29, 1931, in Conway to the late C.R. Trent and Autie Thelma (Reynolds) Trent. He was a retired sheet metal worker, a business owner, and custom home builder for several years.
He was an Air Force veteran and a member of Family Life Bible Church.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jean (McGaha) Trent; son, Mike Trent and wife Pam of Conway; daughter, Tina Porter and husband Dennis of Edgemont, Ark.; son, Tim Trent and wife Betty Jane of Conway; six grandchildren, Brandie Leigh Summerlin and husband Anthony, Charles Wesley "Chad" Miller, Tiffany Trent, Tyler Trent, Josh Ferguson and wife Laura, and Meagan Leigh Ferguson; two great-grandchildren, Robert Trent Summerlin and Lawton Summerlin, all of Conway; two brothers, C.W. Trent and David Trent, both of Conway; one sister, Rosalie Patton of Mablevale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Leslie Trent; and two sisters, Faye Gunter and Angeline Hawk.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Pastor Neil Winstead officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chad Miller, Tyler Trent, Anthony Summerlin, Tom Lindsey, David Appleby, and Jerry Nabholz.
