A U.S. Army, WW II, veteran; Mr. Thiem is survived by his wife, Romalie (Page)Thiem; sons, Richard Thiem, Tampico, IL; brothers, Bob Thiem, Phoneix, AZ and Jack Thiem, Vienna, VA; sisters, Freda Bell, Sand Springs, OK, Shirley Lottenbach, Eureka Springs, AR, Velma Deitrich, Atlanta, GA, Janet Wagner, Little Rock, AR, Gretchen Brandt, & Leora Scott, both of Keokuk, IA; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents, Frederick William Thiem & Gertrude (Bunch) Thiem. Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, January 3, 2006.
