Virginia "Jenny" Tucker Halter, 65, of Conway, died Thursday (Nov. 23, 2000) at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Born July 26, 1935, in Conway, she was a daughter of Vernon Tucker and Daisy Nell Speaker. She was a long time Conway businesswoman, a homemaker, and a member of Conway Community Church.

Survivors include her husband, Victor Halter of Conway; two daughters, Cindy Chalk and Kathy Halter, both of Conway; three sons, Kenny Halter of Maumelle, and Michael Halter and Jimmy Halter, both of Conway; a brother, Vernon Tucker of Eureka Springs (Carroll County); a half-sister, Pat Bell of Jackson, Miss.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Curry and Ken Wesson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ken Halter, Jimmy Halter, Michael Halter, John Chalk, Roger Reed and Ray Cummins.
