When George Hutchison Burr was born on August 25, 1867, in Jamesport, Missouri, his father, William, was 34 and his mother, Rebecca, was 23. He married Ruth Herndon on August 3, 1892. They had four children in 13 years. He died on May 3, 1916, in Texas, at the age of 48.
